I have the Samsung Note 4 and it is one of the best phones I have ever owned. I know people with the Samsung S5 and they love them so when I hear that the new S6 was announced I was looking forward to seeing them.
The news isn't that great. The very first thing that I saw was that the camera sticks out the back because of how skinny the phone is. The new S6 edge which has the screens curved on both sides will have a much higher risk of being broken. This all means that this phone will really need a case. And I hate cases.
There are going to be alot of companions between the new S6 and the iPhone because the S6 is all metal and glass so no plastic at all, you cant change the battery any more or put in a SD card which personal down point to me. It also has a touch or swipless fingerprint reader on the home button.
These phones will be fine for the average user but I still like to be able to add an SD card with movies or music, be able to swap my battery and have a phone with a little bit of its own protection.
Could you imagine how many how many phones they would sell if they put time and effort in to working on a tough phone that still works and looks good.
Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ are Android smartphones manufactured and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The S6 line serves as a successor to the Galaxy S5. The S6 and S6 Edge smartphones were officially unveiled in the first "Samsung Unpacked 2015" event at Mobile World Congress on 1 March 2015, while the bigger S6 Edge+ was officially unveiled together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in the second "Samsung Unpacked 2015" event at New York on 13 August 2015. Alongside the S6, Samsung also unveiled the S6 Edge (and later on the bigger S6 Edge+), a variant whose screen is wrapped along the sides of the device; the curvature is usable for several additional features. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were released on 10 April 2015 in 20 countries while the S6 Edge+ was released on 21 August 2015 in 20 countries.
